How can I be eligible for the relief:

  • I have loss of income due to COVID-19. Income documents may be required for review.

What it means for my existing UOB saving or current accounts:

  • Minimum balance fee will be waived up to 31 December 2020 on request.
  • Returned GIRO fee will be waived on request. Submit this form only after the charge(s) has been incurred. You may still be charged by third-party billing organisations for failed payments, including late payment fees, if applicable.

Current Fees for a UOB Account

  • Minimum Balance Fee - between S$2 to S$7.50 per month.
  • Returned GIRO Fee - S$10 per return

By submitting this application:

 

1.      I represent and warrant that all information and documents submitted to the Bank in connection with this application are true, accurate and complete in all respects.

 

2.     I acknowledge and agree that:

(a)   my application for this waiver is subject to approval by the Bank, and the Bank may reject or decline my application without giving any reason or notice whatsoever;

 

(b)   all other terms and conditions governing my existing relationship with the Bank (including without limitation the prevailing Terms and Conditions Governing Accounts and Services (Individual Customers))  shall remain unchanged and shall continue to be binding on me;

 

(c)   the Bank may at any time and in its sole discretion vary, withdraw, suspend or terminate this waiver relief without prior notice or reason;

 

(d)   the risk of misunderstandings, errors, unauthorised instructions, fraud, forgery, and the risk of operational, equipment, and network delays, failures, faults or errors howsoever occurring in the course of the transmission of documents and instructions are entirely mine, and the Bank will not be responsible or liable to me for any loss, liability or expense that may result from any of the foregoing;

 

(e)   the Bank is authorised (without being obliged) to record any telephone conversation made or purportedly made with me whether with or without the use of a tone warning device and the Bank may use such recordings and/or transcripts as evidence in any dispute; and

 

(f)    the Bank shall not be obliged to maintain such recordings and transcripts or keep or make available to me any such copies thereof.
