All appointed Deputies/Donees will need to be present in person with the following documents:
Opened with a Court Order issued pursuant to Part V of the Mental Capacity Act (Cap 177A) ("MCA"),
- Court Order issued pursuant to MCA
- Original Identity Documents of the account holder who lacks mental capacity and the Deputy(ies) (NRIC – Singaporean/PR, Passport – Foreigner)
- For Foreigners, Proof of Residential Address (e.g. original utilities or telco bills).
Opened with a Lasting Power of Attorney ("LPA"),
- Original Identity Document(s) of the Donor and all the Donee(s) (NRIC – Singaporean/PR, Passport – Foreigner)
- Original medical certificate report certifying the Donor’s mental incapacity and dated after the date of LPA registration
- Lasting Power of Attorney (either original hardcopy LPA, or certified true copy of the LPA, or softcopy LPA sent to the Bank through the OPG’s e-Services portal via Singpass during account opening)
- For Foreigners, Proof of Residential Address (e.g. original utilities or telco bills).
